  • Representing Shell in its appeal to the Supreme Court of Appeal against the judicial review proceedings of the Western Cape High Court in respect of its environmental authorisation to conduct exploratory drilling in Block 5/6/7.
  • Advising TotalEnergies in defence of its environmental authorisation to conduct offshore exploratory drilling in Block Deep Western Orange Basin.
  • Advising Sappi in a review application in respect of its atmospheric emissions licence issued for its Ngodwana Mill.
  • Advising Harmony Gold Mining Company Ltd in an appeal to the Water Tribunal in respect of a water use licence granted to Blyvoor Gold Capital (Pty) Ltd.
  • Advising Randfontein Estates (Pty) Ltd in respect of an eviction of unlawful occupiers on mining owned land.
  • Acting for Foskor in appeals against an environmental authorisation and section 102 approval obtained by Rob 5 Mining over an area on which Foskor holds a surface right permit.
